Internships & Apprenticeships

Leigh Anna Trimble

Program Description:

The Internships & Apprenticeships program provides students with opportunities to work in a chosen industry while attending high school.  This program assists students in making smart choices about careers by helping them identify abilities, interests, and aptitudes.  Students enrolled in this program are permitted to work off-campus and receive wages.  They must be able to acquire a minimum of 140 clock hours in a work-related setting for each credit earned.  They are excused from school each afternoon to report to their workplace.
