About Florence City Schools Career & Technical Information

As Career Tech Educators our mission is to complement the academic curriculum in our schools.  We have a passion for indentifying tendencies, skills, and capabilities that prepare students for the careers they love.  Our commitment is to offer programs that provide experiences that will benefit students long after they graduate.  Career Tech is the perfect blend of academic rigor and hands-on, project based learning experiences.

With a multitude of options to learn outside of the classroom on the horizon through free tuition for dual enrollment, job shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships with local partners in the community, Florence City Schools Career Tech students truly possess many opportunities to Explore, Create, Challenge, Innovate, and Lead.

Lastly, when you enroll in a Career Tech program, be sure to participate as an active member of the program student organization.  This is a great way to get involved in service to your community, as well as a great way to network with other students interested in the same career areas of study.  All of our Career Tech Student Organizations (CTSO) offer students opportunities to hone their skills in local, state, and national competitions that lead to cash awards, scholarships, and much more.
